Solas Capital Wins Prestigious Environmental Finance Award for School Retrofit Project

We are delighted to accept this prestigious award for financing Resalta’s project to retrofit a primary school and health centre in the Slovenian municipality of Ilirska Bistrica. This achievement holds special significance for us as the project embodies our commitment to sustainable development.SSEF empowers budget-conscious public entities to undertake energy efficiency upgrades without the burden of high upfront costs. Such initiatives are vital for institutions such as schools, kindergartens and sports centres, which often lack adequate public funding for improvements, despite playing a critical role in communities and having high energy demands. The comprehensive retrofit, including roof and façade insulation, new windows and doors, and renovations to heating, lighting, ventilation and air conditioning systems, has resulted in:
